Worcester Victorian Christmas Market Visit
On day 1, travel by coach to Worcester and join a visit to the Victorian Christmas market. Follow twinkling lights through High Street, Cathedral Square and Friar Street as costumed traders and buskers in period garb fill the streets with seasonal cheer. Browse hand-crafted gifts, nibble on gingerbread, and sample spiced mulled wine while brass bands and carol singers perform. Take time to pause for photos and reflection by Worcester Cathedral, its soaring tower rising above the River Severn.
Worcester’s heritage enriches the scene, from Royal Worcester porcelain traditions to Civil War history and the tomb of King John within the cathedral. Timber-framed fronts, cobbled lanes and shop windows dressed for the season create a warm, old-world atmosphere. After festive browsing and toasting the market spirit, we continue to the hotel in the evening for a relaxing overnight stay.
