Continue to Piazza della Signoria, cradle of civic life since the republic, and pause on the Ponte Vecchio where goldsmiths’ ateliers still line the arches above the Arno.
Hear how Medici patronage and Brunelleschi’s engineering ignited the Renaissance. Your guide brings masterpieces and streetscapes to life with tales of guilds, workshops, and humanist ideals that shaped Europe’s art and architecture.
Uffizi Gallery Reserved Timed Visit (2026 departures)
Enter with reserved timed entry to the Uffizi, Florence’s treasure-house of Renaissance art curated by the Medici. Gaze upon Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, Leonardo’s Annunciation, and Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo, then follow masterpieces by Titian and Caravaggio through light-filled corridors overlooking the Arno.
Discover how the galleries evolved from Medici administrative offices into a public museum, with rooms arranged to trace the arc of European painting. Views toward the Palazzo Vecchio frame a fitting finale to this world-class collection.
Siena Guided City Tour & Il Campo
Explore Siena with a local expert to experience the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, the graceful Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, and stone lanes draped with colorful contrada flags. Learn how banking wealth and civic pride forged one of medieval Italy’s most refined cities.
Admire the black-and-white striped cathedral and hear the story of its extraordinary inlaid marble floor. Evocations of the Palio, centuries-old rivalries, and preserved Gothic streets reveal a city that wears its history with quiet dignity.
San Gimignano Medieval Towers & Hilltop Views
Wander the cobbled lanes of San Gimignano, its skyline pricked by soaring tower-houses built by rival families. Stroll via San Giovanni to open piazzas where stone wells and frescoed chapels evoke a feudal past, and pause to admire misty Tuscan vistas rolling toward distant vineyards.
Hear how as many as seventy-two towers once proclaimed power and prosperity. UNESCO recognition safeguards the town’s urban fabric, while local enoteche champion Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Tuscany’s historic dry white wine.
Lucca Renaissance Walls & Historic Quarter
Stroll the tree-lined ramparts of Lucca’s Renaissance walls for gentle panoramas of bell towers and terracotta roofs. Drop into the oval Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, shaped by a Roman arena, and meander toward the Guinigi Tower crowned with holm oaks.
Discover the city of Giacomo Puccini, where Roman street grids meet Romanesque churches in luminous marble. The Cathedral of San Martino and artisan workshops reveal a cultured, unhurried Tuscan town framed by the Apuan foothills.
Pisa’s Piazza dei Miracoli: Leaning Tower, Cathedral & Baptistery
Visit the Piazza dei Miracoli to see the white-marble Leaning Tower of Pisa, Romanesque Cathedral, and domed Baptistery set on emerald lawns. Appreciate the campanile’s elegant arcades and the Baptistery’s famed acoustics as you explore this harmonious sacred ensemble.
Learn how ground subsidence tilted the tower from the 12th century onward—stabilized today at roughly 3.97 degrees—and how Pisan prosperity from maritime trade funded these luminous monuments of faith and civic stature.
Volterra Hilltown & Etruscan Heritage
Discover Volterra, a walled hilltop town with sweeping views and a proud Etruscan soul. Explore the Piazza dei Priori, pass beneath the Porta all’Arco, and glimpse the Roman Theatre nestled below medieval ramparts.
Witness the town’s signature craft in alabaster studios where artisans carve luminous stone into vases and sculptures. Museums and streetscapes alike reveal layers of Etruscan, Roman, and communal history shaped by trade, stone, and highland isolation.
Tuscan Farmhouse Lunch in a Medieval Village
Taste the countryside at a family-run farmhouse where a seasonal lunch celebrates Tuscan recipes—think peppery olive oil, rustic bruschetta, hearty soups like ribollita, local pecorino, and regional wines poured with warmth.
Dine amid stone walls and cypress-framed hills near a medieval village, hearing stories of vintages, olive harvests, and kitchen traditions passed down generations. The setting and flavours capture slow-food rhythms that define rural life beyond the cities.
Climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa
Ascend the campanile’s spiral to experience the tower’s subtle tilt underfoot and enjoy panoramic views over the Piazza dei Miracoli. From the belfry, rooftops, lawns, and the Cathedral’s striped nave align in extraordinary perspective.
This is an optional experience at additional cost, payable locally and bookable on tour. Timed-entry tickets and capacity are limited; the climb involves around 294 steps and may not suit those with vertigo or mobility concerns.
