Thursford Christmas Spectacular
We spend some time at leisure in the charming city of Norwich. One of the most complete medieval cities in the country, Norwich is steeped in history and atmosphere, with winding lanes lined with period buildings and an imposing Norman cathedral, which boasts the second tallest spire in England.

Warner Corton Coastal Village Activities & Leisure
On day 1 and throughout your stay, make the most of the resort’s coastal setting and facilities. Unwind in the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room, or keep the fun going with classic pursuits: try curling, putting, skittles and shuffleboard, or get a little competitive with archery, rifle shooting, crazy golf and boules. Between sessions, enjoy a free afternoon to relax around the bar and restaurant.
Perched on a cliff above the North Sea, Corton invites you to soak in the lakeside atmosphere—here, the lakeside peace meets bracing sea views and gull calls. Chalets sit a short stroll from the leisure centre, making it easy to dip in and out of activities. In this adults-only setting, the pace is yours: invigorating, restorative, or a little of both by the coast.
Norwich at Leisure – Cathedral Quarter & Medieval Lanes
On day 3, enjoy time to explore the medieval city of Norwich at your own pace. Stroll cobbled streets like Elm Hill, admire black-flint facades and timbered houses, and wander the lively stalls of Norwich Market. Make your way to the serene Close to Norwich Cathedral, whose second tallest spire in England rises above tranquil cloisters, or pause for photos and reflection along the River Wensum.
Norwich’s layered story runs from Norman stronghold to modern cultural hub. The skyline still hints at the city’s many medieval churches, while the imposing Norwich Castle recalls its strategic past. Use your free time to soak in the historic atmosphere, step into independent shops and cafés, and trace centuries of East Anglian trade and craft that shaped this characterful place.
Thursford Christmas Spectacular & Village of Shops
On day 2, we head to Thursford for a festive outing that begins with time to browse the ‘olde worlde’ village of shops, filled with decorations, crafts, toys, and seasonal treats. Afterwards, take your seats for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, a dazzling stage production where a cast of over 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians deliver an uplifting blend of traditional carols and chart-topping favourites, complete with sparkling costumes and grand staging.
Set amid the Thursford Collection in north Norfolk, the show channels Britain’s love of variety theatre and holiday pageantry. Depending on the schedule, it may be a matinee or evening performance; if evening, lunch replaces dinner at the hotel as noted in your itinerary. Expect a warm, seasonal atmosphere and moments to pause for photos and reflection before and after the performance.
