Group lessons start on a Sunday and can be booked for up to 3 days.Familiar with skiing but want a refresher? You can join intermediate and advanced lessons. Next to one of the world’s largest ski regions, this traditional property has had a fresh facelift with all the modcons. We’re talking on-site sauna, Schnapps bar, communal lounge area, a shuttle to the main gondola. Hungry after a day on the slopes? Chow down on some warming locally sourced meals in our dining room.

  • Hopfgarten im Brixental: Perfect way to warm up after a long day of skiing? Lounging in a sauna, of course! And guess what? You’ll have access to our very own sauna (open 4-9 PM) in the hostel. Yeeees!

Unwind in the on-site sauna at Haus Schoneck, letting dry heat release shoulders and calves after big days on the mountain. The pine-clad room and soft lighting invite steady breathing and slow, restorative pauses.

Embrace a Tyrolean wellness ritual designed to soothe ski-tired legs and clear the head. Open from 4–9 PM, it’s a quiet interval of alpine calm before dinner or an evening out with friends.

Soar on a tandem paraglide above the Kitzbuhel Alps, launching from local ridgelines for a smooth glide over forests, farms and glittering pistes. Feel thermals lift you as winter peaks spill to the horizon and misty mountain passes spread below.

Fly with certified pilots, with routes chosen for conditions and views toward Hohe Salve and the Wilder Kaiser. This optional experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; flights are weather-dependent and subject to weight limits.

Sample regional schnapps at Bar Schoneck and compare fruit-clear Obstler and Williams with resin-kissed Zirbenschnaps. Notice how alpine botanicals and orchard harvests shape aroma, from pear sweetness to pine spice across clean, warming sips.

Hear tales of Tyrolean distilling heritage and raise a toast with new friends in a cozy alpine setting. This tasting is at additional cost and bookable on tour; measures are modest and responsible service is observed.

Sharpen your turns with group ski lessons led by Hopfgarten’s local ski school. Choose beginner, intermediate or advanced as instructors refine stance, edging and carving technique on terrain that suits your pace.

Sessions typically start on Sunday and can run up to three days, building confidence on varied terrain across SkiWelt. This optional add-on is at additional cost and bookable on tour; private coaching can be arranged on request.

Explore the UNESCO-listed Altstadt of Salzburg on a relaxed photo walk, weaving past baroque facades and arcaded courtyards along the Getreidegasse. Frame the skyline crowned by the Hohensalzburg Fortress and the snowy Northern Limestone Alps.

Cross the Salzach to vantage points in the Mirabell Gardens, hear stories of Mozart and prince-archbishops, and capture pastel streets against mountain light. It’s culture-rich and camera-ready without rushing, with time to notice craft workshops and café aromas curling through the lanes.

Celebrate at a themed party in our exclusive Bar Schoneck, where the mountain-lodge bar transforms into a lively dance floor. Expect playful dress-up, mood lighting and a soundtrack of après-ski anthems to keep spirits high.

Mingle with fellow skiers, swap highlight runs, and soak in the mountain-lodge atmosphere between the bar and lounge. House games and photo moments bring the crew together long after the lifts stop spinning.
