Additional information

Arrive at Railay Beach on day 2, a peninsula reachable only by boat and framed by dramatic karst cliffs. Go ashore by dinghy to stroll powdery sand, browse simple beachfront cafes, or enjoy a free afternoon swimming in warm Andaman waters.

Railay’s relaxed rhythm is shaped by its rock-climbing culture and small local community. As sunset tints the cliffs a coppery hue, the anchorage turns tranquil and the air fills with the scent of grilling seafood. Choose to remain aboard for a quiet night or wander ashore to soak in the seaside atmosphere at your own pace.

Lift anchor early on day 3 and sail to Ko Ha Yai, part of Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Drop into crystal-clear water to snorkel reef patches alive with anemones and darting reef fish, and, conditions permitting, explore the limestone nooks that give this five-island cluster its name.

These protected waters reveal how marine life rebounds where currents are clean and development is minimal. With the sun lowering, the catamaran settles on a calm mooring for an idyllic night under bright stars, the silhouettes of the islets guarding the lagoon-like bay.

On day 4, set a course for the soaring ramparts of Ko Phi Phi. Stop at Monkey Bay where pale sand shelves into clear turquoise, perfect for a lazy snorkel above coral gardens while watching for parrotfish and sergeant majors flitting in the shallows.

Back on deck, admire how sheer limestone walls rise straight from the sea, sheltering jungle and pocket beaches. Depending on conditions, anchor off a quiet cove for a peaceful evening aboard, or continue toward Phi Phi Don to enjoy a free evening exploring the island vibe.

Glide south on day 5 across luminous water toward Ko Racha Noi, one of Phuket’s most pristine outliers. The crew launches kayaks for an easy paddle along the rocky shoreline, and there’s ample time to snorkel in exceptionally clear shallows before a relaxed lunch on a quiet beach.

Racha Noi’s remoteness means few boats and a hush broken only by waves on the sand. The day balances unhurried sailing with active time in the water, showcasing the Southern Phuket Islands’ reputation for visibility and reef life.

Make for Ko Yao Yai on day 6, sailing through a scatter of islets that give way to long sandy curves and coconut palms. Come ashore to wander a quiet lane or simply soak in the lakeside atmosphere of this laid-back island, home to fishing villages and rubber plantations.

Ko Yao Yai retains a traditional, largely Muslim community feel, with low-key shops and calls to prayer drifting on the breeze. Back aboard, enjoy a calm anchorage as the sky turns pastel and the boat rocks gently — a fitting prelude to your final morning at sea.

On day 7, raise anchor early for a mellow return to Phuket. Break the passage with a refreshing dip over a sandy patch — a last chance to float in warm Andaman water before sails or engines carry you into Yacht Haven Marina late morning.

This unhurried finale invites you to savor the rhythm of travel by sea: the creak of lines, wind across the deck, and vivid memories of karst bays and clear lagoons. Say farewell to your crew and shipmates as your Andaman odyssey comes to a close.

Use your shore time on day 2 to hike the steep Railay viewpoint trail (rope-assisted in parts) for sweeping vistas of limestone spires and jade bays. Continue along the beach to Phra Nang Princess Cave, where local fishermen leave offerings at a storied fertility shrine.

Round out the afternoon with a traditional Thai massage at a simple open-air pavilion, or linger on the sand with a cool drink. This experience is optional, available at additional cost, and bookable locally with guidance from your skipper.

As dusk settles on day 2, take the dinghy ashore to sample regional dishes — from grilled seafood to tangy som tam — in a casual beachfront setting. Lanterns flicker, waves lap the shore, and the cliffs glow softly in the last light.

After dinner, wander the pedestrian lanes or enjoy a free evening with a nightcap by the water before returning to the anchorage. This experience is optional, at additional cost, and easily arranged on tour.

Weather and anchorage permitting on day 4, head ashore to experience Ko Phi Phi’s lively beach bars and casual music spots. Sip something cold, watch fire-dancer shows on the sand, or simply stroll the waterfront under a salt-scented breeze.

Drinks and snacks are at your own expense, and timing is coordinated by your skipper to ensure a safe tender ride back to the catamaran. This experience is optional and bookable on tour.

On the passage to Ko Yao Yai on day 6, conditions allowing, opt to detour to Ko Khai Nai, a tiny islet ringed by powder-white sand and turquoise shallows. Wade straight off the beach to spot colorful fish in gentle surf and lounge under a sun umbrella between dips.

This stop is weather-dependent and may involve local landing or park fees. It’s an optional experience, available at additional cost and bookable on tour in discussion with your skipper.

On day 6, join your shipmates for an informal group dinner at a local restaurant on Ko Yao Yai. Expect simple southern Thai flavors — fragrant curries, stir-fried greens, fresh seafood — served in a relaxed island setting.

It’s a convivial way to toast the voyage and support small family-run eateries. This experience is optional, at additional cost, and your skipper will help organize timings and transfers ashore.

On day 2, take the dinghy to Khao Phing Kan — “James Bond Island”, the film location for The Man with the Golden Gun. Walk the small beach, gaze at the needle-like Ko Tapu pinnacle, and hear how Phang Nga’s geology formed these sheer limestone stacks over millions of years.

Your crew shares stories of the bay’s protected status and the impact of pop culture on remote Thai islets. There’s time to pause for photos of the towering cliffs and jade-green water before returning to the catamaran to continue your scenic crossing toward Krabi’s coast.

Cast off on day 1 for an easy afternoon passage toward the northern reaches of Phang Nga Bay. Recline on the trampoline as you glide under sail past limestone karsts, their jungle-capped forms glowing gold in late light. Drop anchor in a sheltered cove and take the dinghy ashore or slip into clear water for an evening swim.

This remote anchorage spotlights the bay’s serene character — mangrove-fringed channels, soft bird calls at dusk, and misty mountain silhouettes on the horizon. It’s an unhurried introduction to the region’s seascapes and a chance to pause for photos and reflection before dinner on board beneath a sky thick with stars.

Meet your crew at Yacht Haven Marina in northern Phuket on day 1 and meet your skipper for a concise safety overview and route briefing across the Andaman Sea. Step aboard the sailing catamaran, settle into your cabin, and learn how life works at sea — from shared spaces to conserving fresh water.

As lines are slipped, your skipper invites you to learn a few tricks of the trade — how the sails are trimmed and how navigation is plotted — while the breeze carries you toward Phang Nga. It’s the perfect start to a voyage that balances freedom on deck with expert guidance and a small-group camaraderie.
