Additional information

Come ashore by tender to the palm-lined waterfront of Hvar Town for a sociable evening. Stroll past the Venetian loggia and lace-work campanile, then climb the lantern-lit path to Fortica Španjola for panoramic views over the Pakleni Islands and a sunset over the lagoon-like bays. Later, cafés and wine bars around the harbor offer live music and a lively Adriatic mood.

This flexible outing typically fits between day 2 and day 4, depending on winds. It’s at additional cost and bookable on tour, and your skipper can point out spots celebrating the island’s heritage, including references to the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain, a rare Greek-era agricultural landscape still in use.

With snorkelling gear provided, slip from the stern swim platform into crystal-clear water on days 2–6. Pebble coves and sun-warmed rock shelves shelter shoals of damselfish and shy wrasse; over seagrass meadows, the sea glows turquoise to emerald. Your skipper chooses safe, sheltered coves where you can float in glassy bays, sun on deck, and dry off in the breeze.

These leisurely stops are woven into the sailing day, often after lunch when the light is soft and the coves are calm. Listen for cicadas in the pines and the soft slap of water on the hull. It’s an unhurried Adriatic ritual that captures the coast’s essence—salt on skin, warm stone underfoot, and time to pause for photos and reflection.

On day 7, approach Dubrovnik’s UNESCO-listed Old City from the sea, its honey-colored walls rising above the water. After mooring, take the tender ashore to stroll the polished limestone of Stradun, pass through the Pile Gate, and watch the late sun gild bell towers and baroque facades. It’s an evocative finale to your week under sail.

As evening falls, enjoy a free evening to choose a konoba, sample Dalmatian dishes, or find a quiet piazza for gelato. The atmosphere shifts from day’s bustle to lamplit calm, with sea breezes threading the alleys. Return to the yacht or linger in town—either way, the city’s storied ramparts provide a fitting curtain call.

When weather and routing align (typically between day 3 and day 5), head ashore on Mljet for a nature-focused visit to its National Park. Hike or rent a bike around the shimmering Veliko and Malo Jezero saltwater lakes, then take the park boat to St Mary islet to explore the 12th-century Benedictine monastery and pause for photos and reflection by cypress and stone.

Legend says Odysseus lingered on Mljet—easy to believe amid resin-scented pines and glassy green water. Trails undulate through Mediterranean maquis, with dips encouraged at small rock platforms along the lakes. This is an at additional cost excursion, bookable on tour through your Skipper CEO, and tailored to the group’s preferred pace and timing.

Enhance your final evening with a locally guided walk through Dubrovnik’s Old Town, then climb to the City Walls for a circuit of battlements and sea-cliff views. Trace the marble Stradun, see the Franciscan Monastery (home to one of Europe’s oldest pharmacies, founded in 1317), and pause by the Rector’s Palace while stories of Ragusan merchants and seafaring unfold.

Up on the ramparts, terracotta roofs tilt toward the Adriatic and the Elaphiti Islands shimmer offshore—especially atmospheric near sunset on day 7. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour, with timing arranged by your Skipper CEO to suit mooring and light conditions.

Arriving in Split by early afternoon, join the group transfer to Trogir and meet your Skipper CEO at the marina for a thorough safety briefing and boat orientation. Settle into your cabin, learn how life works on board, and get acquainted with your small crew. With the sails ready, you’ll feel the anticipation build as everyone prepares to cast off from UNESCO-listed Trogir, a stone-carved town framed by Venetian walls and the Kamerlengo Fortress.

This essential start happens on day 1 and sets the tone for a hands-on sailing journey. Your skipper outlines the flexible plan based on winds and weather, explains shared duties, and highlights good seamanship. Step onto deck as the boat glides out through the channel, limestone hills fading behind and the Adriatic sparkling ahead.

Across days 2–6, hoist the sails and trace a classic island-hopping route. Depending on conditions, your skipper navigates toward Hvar (with serene coves near Milna), Korocula’s medieval skyline, pine-cloaked Mljet, and the laid-back bays of Šolta. Expect relaxed passages, time on deck, and chances to anchor in quiet bays for swims and beach tender runs.

As the boat threads between islets, limestone headlands and vineyard-striped hills slide by. Learn the rhythms of the Adriatic—mornings under canvas, afternoons at anchor, and golden light spilling over fishing harbors at dusk. Your skipper adapts each day to wind and sea, creating an authentic small-yacht experience that balances unhurried sailing with ample time ashore for cafés, short walks, and photos.

Explore Korcula’s walled old town, its narrow lanes angled to catch sea breezes. Admire the stonework of St Mark’s Cathedral, hear the Marco Polo legends, and note the ingenious urban plan shaped like a fishbone to temper the winds. Then visit a family-run cellar to sample regional wines—notably Pošip and the rare Grk—paired with local olives and cheeses.

Usually arranged between day 3 and day 6, this cultural and culinary interlude is at additional cost and bookable on tour through your Skipper CEO. It’s a relaxed way to connect place and palate while learning how centuries of seafaring and stonecutting shaped Korcula’s identity.

If routing includes Brac (often early in the week), tender ashore at Bol for time on Zlatni Rat, the arrowhead beach whose pebbled spit shifts shape with wind and tide. Swim in clear shallows, wander shaded pine paths, or simply stretch out with views to Hvar across the channel.

Round out the stop with a visit to a local winery to taste crisp, island-grown whites, or seek out a simple konoba lunch. Typically arranged on day 2 or day 3, this experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour, with timing adjusted to the day’s sailing and anchor conditions.
