Diano Marina Seafront Orientation Walk
Walk along Diano Marina’s seafront promenade on a short orientation to this Italian Riviera resort. Take in the beach, palm trees and everyday bustle of a Ligurian town overlooking the Mediterranean.
The walk offers a simple introduction to the area around your Riviera base, helping you get your bearings and spot places you may wish to revisit. Its relaxed coastal setting reveals a different side of Liguria from the celebrated harbours farther along the shore.
Four-Course Ligurian Speciality Dinner
Share a four-course Ligurian speciality dinner at your Riviera hotel. This included group meal offers a chance to savour the region’s cooking together rather than treating dinner as a routine stop.
Ligurian cuisine draws on the Mediterranean coast and the hills behind it, with a tradition of herbs, olive oil and fresh, straightforward flavours. The menu provides a culinary connection to the places visited throughout the holiday; individual dishes will depend on the hotel’s offering.
Beaune Burgundy Town Visit
Explore Beaune’s cobbled streets in the heart of Burgundy’s wine country. Browse the town’s shops and markets, or seek out the Hôtel-Dieu’s colourful tiled roofs, one of Beaune’s most recognisable sights.
Founded in the 15th century as a hospital for the poor, the Hôtel-Dieu reflects the town’s long civic history. Beaune is equally known for its food and wine, giving this included stop a distinctively Burgundian character. Museum admission and tastings are not included.
Monaco & Monte Carlo Excursion
Discover Monaco and Monte Carlo, where a yacht-filled harbour meets steep streets, sea views and polished Belle Époque architecture. Explore independently, with the chance to see the Prince’s Palace area and the elegant surroundings of the Monte Carlo Casino.
This small Mediterranean principality pairs a historic royal seat with a reputation for luxury and motorsport. The included excursion gives you time to experience its contrasting neighbourhoods at your own pace; a more detailed guided tour is available separately.
Ligurian Coast Boat Trip, Santa Margherita Ligure & Portofino
Cruise from Rapallo along the Ligurian coast, with time ashore in Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino. Watch villas and coves pass from the water, stroll Santa Margherita’s palm-lined promenade, and explore Portofino’s compact harbour and painted waterfront.
The boat offers a view of the coastline that its winding roads cannot match. In Portofino, fishing boats share the bay with yachts, while narrow lanes climb above the harbour. You can enjoy the waterfront or walk uphill towards historic Castello Brown; castle admission is not included.
San Remo Coastal Town Visit
Explore San Remo on a half-day visit to this Italian Riviera town. Wander towards the old quarter, admire its palm-lined promenades and Art Nouveau villas, or spend time beside the sea.
Long associated with flowers and Mediterranean resort life, San Remo balances grand streets with the close-knit lanes of La Pigna, its historic centre. Time to look around independently lets you choose between the town’s architectural details, local shops and coastal atmosphere.
Guided Monaco & Monte Carlo City Tour
Join a guided city tour of Monaco and Monte Carlo for a closer look at the principality’s highlights. A guide adds context to the royal heritage, grand architecture and glamorous streets that make this small coastal state so distinctive.
The tour builds on the included Monaco excursion, offering more insight than independent sightseeing alone. Expect an introduction to the contrast between historic Monaco and Monte Carlo’s casino quarter; entry to individual attractions is not specified. This optional experience costs £19 per person and is bookable on tour.
Nice & Menton French Riviera Excursion
Visit Nice and Menton on an optional excursion along the French Riviera. In Nice, discover the broad seafront promenade and colourful Old Town; in Menton, enjoy the setting where steep hills meet the Mediterranean near the Italian border.
Nice’s market streets and local chickpea-flour socca reflect its distinct food culture, while Menton is celebrated for its citrus-growing tradition and pastel-toned streets. Both towns offer time to explore their contrasting coastal atmospheres. This excursion costs £25 per person and is bookable on tour.
