Murrawaddi Arts & Culture Visit
Visit Murrawaddi Arts & Culture in Kakadu to view Aboriginal artworks and discover the stories they convey. Spend time looking at the colours, patterns and subjects that give each work its character.
Art offers a way to engage with the cultural significance of Kakadu beyond its landscapes. This visit brings attention to the traditions and connections to Country expressed through the works on display.
Guluyambi Cultural Cruise
Cruise the East Alligator River with local Aboriginal guides on the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise. Look for wildlife along the riverbanks while hearing firsthand insights into traditional customs, practices and the surrounding Country.
The waterway forms part of Kakadu’s richly layered landscape, where nature and living culture are closely connected. Hearing from Aboriginal guides makes this more than a wildlife cruise: it is an opportunity to understand the place through local knowledge.
Ubirr Rock Art & Panoramic Views
Explore Ubirr’s Aboriginal rock-art galleries in Kakadu National Park, where images painted on stone speak to a long history of cultural expression. Take time to observe the artwork and its setting among the sandstone outcrops.
