Additional information
New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, Disco & Midnight Buck’s Fizz
Return to the hotel on day 2 for a celebratory evening. Take your seat for a festive gala dinner, where courses arrive with seasonal flavours and glasses catch the light. Later, step onto the dance floor as the DJ lifts the tempo and raise a glass of Buck’s Fizz at midnight with fellow travellers.
As London counts down, join the cheer with the televised chimes of Big Ben and a warm hotel atmosphere — no queues, just comfort and good company. It is a relaxed way to welcome the year before an easy stroll to your room.
Central London Leisure Time for Shopping & Sightseeing
Enjoy time at leisure in central London on day 1 before the show and again on day 3. With convenient coach drop-offs, you can wander Covent Garden, browse Oxford Street and Regent Street, or follow the South Bank for skyline views. Take a moment to pause for photos and reflection at Buckingham Palace or Trafalgar Square.
The city glows with post-Christmas lights and bustling window displays, creating an inviting backdrop for coffee stops and street performers. This flexible time lets you set the pace — shop the winter sales, step into a museum, or simply watch Londoners on the move — before regrouping for the evening or the homeward journey.
Oliver! Ticket Upgrade – Premium Seating
At additional cost, enhance your evening on day 1 with a ticket upgrade, moving from Grand Circle to premium Stalls or Royal Circle seats (subject to availability). Closer sightlines and richer acoustics let you catch every gesture and harmony as you join a West End evening.
These coveted seats bring the conductor’s baton, the orchestra pit and set details into crisp focus, deepening your immersion in Oliver! The Musical. Upgrades are bookable on tour; availability and pricing will be confirmed by the team during your stay.
Windsor Castle Admission & St George’s Chapel
If opening times permit, add admission to Windsor Castle on day 2 at additional cost. Step into the State Apartments (when open) with their gilded ceilings and ceremonial rooms, and step inside St George’s Chapel to admire fan-vaulting and quiet cloisters.
As the oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor offers a living timeline from Norman fort to royal residence and the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter. This optional visit is bookable on tour and subject to Royal Household schedules; the team will advise the best timing.
Windsor Excursion: Castle, Long Walk & Riverside Town
On day 2, travel to Windsor after breakfast for a relaxed morning in this royal riverside town. Stroll timber-framed lanes and the Guildhall, browse independent shops, and follow the Long Walk for postcard views back to Windsor Castle. Cross to the Eton side for Thames vistas and pause for photos and reflection along the bridge.
Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, the castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle. Nearby St George’s Chapel — spiritual home of the Order of the Garter — holds centuries of royal ceremonies and burials. Soak in the gentle riverside atmosphere before meeting the coach for the afternoon return.
Oliver! The Musical – West End Evening Performance
On day 1, make your way with the group into London’s Theatreland and settle into your Grand Circle ticket seat for Oliver! The Musical. As the curtain rises, join a West End evening of craftsmanship: a live orchestra, velvet darkness, and Lionel Bart’s melodies — Consider Yourself, Food, Glorious Food, Oom-Pah-Pah — filling the auditorium.
The show conjures Dickensian London — from the workhouse’s chill to Fagin’s den by gaslight — while celebrating a British musical that helped shape post-war theatre. Step out to Shaftesbury Avenue and Covent Garden’s glow, carry the chorus in your head, and rejoin the coach for the ride back to the hotel.
