Enhance your West End evening by choosing to upgrade your ticket for MAMMA MIA! to Stalls or Premium seating (subject to availability). Sit closer to the stage to catch the sparkle of the costumes, the warmth of the vocals and the finer details of the choreography.
This optional upgrade applies to the performance on day 1 and is bookable on tour at additional cost. If you love theatre or want to treat yourself, upgrading deepens the immersion—stronger acoustics, intimate sightlines and an even more buoyant connection with the cast as the ABBA score fills the Novello Theatre.
Windsor Castle Admission (State Apartments & Chapel)
Make the most of your Windsor visit by choosing to step inside Windsor Castle, the sovereign’s residence for nearly a millennium. Explore the State Apartments (when open) with their richly furnished ceremonial rooms and masterpieces from the Royal Collection.
Continue to St George’s Chapel, a jewel of late-medieval architecture and the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter. This experience typically aligns with your free time on day 2 and is at additional cost and bookable on tour. Entry is subject to opening times and security checks, but rewards you with vivid insights into royal ceremony, craftsmanship and living history within the castle walls.
Windsor Excursion: Castle Views, Long Walk & Riverside Time
After breakfast on day 2, journey to royal Windsor for a gentle-paced visit. Stroll the boutique-lined streets and follow the Thames to Eton Bridge, or head towards the parkland to pause for photos and reflection along the Long Walk with its straight avenue leading to the Copper Horse statue.
Learn how Windsor Castle has guarded this hill since the 11th century, evolving into the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Peek at the precincts and consider the stories of St George’s Chapel, resting place of monarchs and a masterpiece of Perpendicular Gothic. Enjoy café stops or light shopping before returning to the hotel in the afternoon to prepare for the evening’s celebrations.
New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, Disco & Midnight Buck’s Fizz
On day 2, dress for a sparkling evening at the hotel and gather for a New Year’s Eve gala dinner & disco. Savor a festive menu in the hotel’s function suite before the resident DJ sets the mood and the dancefloor fills with classic hits and party anthems.
As the countdown begins, raise a toast with a glass of Buck’s Fizz at midnight and share the moment with fellow travellers. Expect laughter, clinking glasses and celebratory embraces as the new year arrives. After the music winds down, it’s a short stroll to your room for a restful night—no taxis, just warm good cheer to carry you into the year ahead.
Central London Leisure Time & Sightseeing
Enjoy central London at your own pace with free time on day 1 before the show and again on day 3 before departure. Wander Covent Garden’s market arcades, browse independent stalls and street performers, or walk the South Bank to pause for photos and reflection by the river with skyline views.
Strike out for icons such as the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, admire the Mall and Buckingham Palace, or step into the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square. This is your moment to enjoy a free afternoon, choosing museums, cafés or shopping along Oxford Street—London’s energy, architecture and winter light providing the backdrop to your own city discoveries.
West End Evening: MAMMA MIA! at the Novello Theatre (Grand Circle)
On day 1, travel into the West End for an evening in London’s theatre heartland and join an evening performance of the smash-hit musical with your Grand Circle ticket to MAMMA MIA!. Settle into the elegant Novello Theatre on the Strand as the curtain rises on a sunlit Greek-island tale told through ABBA’s hits.
Sway along to “Dancing Queen”, “Mamma Mia” and “The Winner Takes It All” as the show’s feel-good energy fills the Edwardian auditorium. From the Grand Circle, admire the theatre’s gilded plasterwork and enjoy a sweeping view of the stagecraft and choreography. After the final bows, rejoin your group as the coach whisks you back to the hotel, the melodies still ringing in your ears.
