Dublin Guided City Tour
Explore Dublin with a Local Specialist, taking in its Georgian squares, O’Connell Street and the Custom House. See Trinity College and view St. Patrick’s Cathedral as you discover the landmarks and streets that shape Ireland’s capital.
The city’s elegant terraces speak to its 18th-century prosperity, while its literary associations recall writers including James Joyce and Oscar Wilde. This guided introduction brings Dublin’s architecture and cultural history into focus.
Galway Historic Centre
Discover the historic heart of Galway, the City of Tribes. See its stone cathedral beside the River Corrib and look for the Spanish Arch, a remnant of the old city walls near the waterfront.
Galway’s nickname recalls the merchant families who dominated its medieval civic life. Its streets retain a lively sense of that trading past, while the distinctive Claddagh ring remains a familiar symbol of the city’s local craft traditions.
Cliffs of Moher Conservation Walk & Visitor Centre
Walk the Cliffs of Moher with a Local Specialist in conservation and take in the Atlantic coastline from this dramatic stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way. Learn how coastal wildflowers support birdlife, including the red-billed chough, and how local communities are connected to this landscape.
At the interactive visitor centre, explore the ancient seabed layers that formed the cliffs. Watch for seabirds and, when visibility allows, look across Galway Bay towards the Aran Islands.
Ring of Kerry Scenic Drive
Travel the Ring of Kerry, a scenic route through green hills, stone villages and Atlantic-facing landscapes. See the area around Cahersiveen, associated with Irish political leader Daniel O’Connell, and take in mountain scenery around Moll’s Gap and the Black Valley.
The changing views reveal the contrasts of County Kerry, from coastal waters to rugged uplands. The Black Valley’s isolation was such that it was among the last places in Ireland to receive electricity and telephone connections.
Blarney Castle & the Blarney Stone
Visit Blarney Castle in County Cork and encounter the famous Blarney Stone, traditionally said to bestow the gift of persuasive speech. Those who choose to kiss it do so at the castle’s battlements, with assistance at the stone.
The stone’s legend gives the visit its playful character, while the castle’s weathered masonry offers a glimpse of Ireland’s medieval past. Explore a landmark where local folklore remains as prominent as the historic setting.
House of Waterford Crystal Workshop Tour
Step inside the House of Waterford Crystal to watch master craftspeople turn glass into finely detailed crystal. A workshop tour brings you close to the processes behind pieces prized for their clarity, intricate cuts and play of light.
Waterford’s crystal-making heritage has made the city’s name known far beyond Ireland. Seeing the work in progress reveals the precision and patience behind each finished piece, rather than only the sparkle of the showroom display.
New Ross Dunbrody Famine Ship & Kennedy Memorial
Explore the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience in New Ross with a Local Specialist. A replica of a 19th-century emigrant vessel helps convey the difficult journeys undertaken by people leaving Ireland during the Great Famine.
On the quayside, see the John F. Kennedy memorial, which recalls the US president’s 1963 visit to his ancestral family hometown. Together, the ship and memorial illuminate different chapters in the story of Irish emigration and its lasting ties across the Atlantic.
Be My Guest Dinner at Glenealy House
Share a Be My Guest dinner with the Fulvio family at Glenealy House in County Wicklow. Host Catherine Fulvio, an Irish culinary figure, brings an Italian twist to traditional Irish fare while the family shares its story.
This locally hosted meal offers a personal introduction to the people behind the food. Conversation and hospitality are as much a part of the experience as the dishes, giving you a closer connection to contemporary life in the Wicklow countryside.
Muckross House & Gardens
Visit Muckross House and its gardens on an optional excursion near Killarney. Explore the 19th-century house and its collection of furniture and paintings, including a portrait of King James VI, before taking in the landscaped grounds.
Set beside a lake against oak-clad mountains, the gardens are known for their azaleas and rhododendrons. The contrast between the house’s furnished rooms and its natural setting makes this a rewarding look at both estate life and the Killarney landscape. Additional cost; bookable on tour.
Waterford Irish Folk Experience
Experience traditional Irish music in Waterford at an optional folk gathering. Settle in for a hosted cultural experience centred on live music and the warm, sociable atmosphere associated with Irish musical traditions.
Folk music offers a different perspective on Ireland from its castles and coastal scenery: one shaped by shared tunes and the pleasure of listening together. This is an opportunity to enjoy that living tradition during your time in Waterford. Additional cost; bookable on tour.
