Additional information

Hayling Island Country Music Break

After joining the coach, we make our way to the Warner Lakeside Coastal Village and check in. We enjoy dinner and a fun-filled evening of fabulous live country music.

Hayling Island Country Music Break

Our optional excursion takes us first to the seaside town of Bournemouth. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the pier or indulge in a bite to eat while sitting on the beach. There’s time to explore the bustling town centre, with plenty of shops and cafes. We then visit the New Forest’s capital, Lyndhurst, a charming village with a rich history.

In the evening, get ready to don your Stetsons for more entertainment.

Hayling Island Country Music Break

The cathedral city of Chichester and its fantastic 200-year-old market awaits. This charming, compact city boasts some of the country’s oldest buildings and streets, including the cathedral church of the Holy Trinity, while the pedestrianised city centre is enclosed within the ancient city walls.

Back at the Warner village, we enjoy another fun-filled night of country music.

Hayling Island Country Music Break

We spend half a day in the bustling city of Portsmouth, Britain’s only island city thanks to its geographical location on Portsea Island. There is plenty to explore; its historic dockyard is home to Lord Nelson’s impressive HMS Victory while Gunwharf Quays is a rejuvenated area of retail outlets, bars and restaurants. Here you can climb the Spinnaker Tower for panoramic views of the surrounding area.

We enjoy our final evening of live country music tonight – the artists will have you hollering yee-ha in no time!

Hayling Island Country Music Break

After breakfast, we check out and board the coach for the journey home.

Discover Portsmouth, Britain’s only island city, where historic harbours meet a sleek waterfront. Stroll the quays at Gunwharf Quays and look up to the sail-shaped Spinnaker Tower rising above the Solent.

Maritime heritage anchors the visit at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home to Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Choose to step aboard the ships or ascend the tower for panoramic views (entry fees apply), or simply enjoy the sea air along the waterfront.

Unwind with access to the leisure centre’s indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Gentle laps and unhurried downtime pair perfectly with seaside walks and evenings of music.

By day, try your hand at archery, crossbow and rifle shooting, join short-mat bowls, or enjoy putt and croquet. Follow self-guided walks and cycling routes, fish by the lake, or join a relaxed grounds tour—the pace is yours to set.

Savour a classic seaside escape in Bournemouth, from lively gardens to arcades and deckchairs around Bournemouth Pier. Stroll the promenade beside golden sands or linger over fish and chips with sea views.

Continue into the New Forest National Park to explore Lyndhurst, the historic capital of William the Conqueror’s 11th-century hunting ground. Look out for free-roaming ponies and cosy tearooms. This optional excursion is at additional cost (£15pp) and is bookable on tour.

Explore the compact cathedral city of Chichester, with Georgian terraces, quiet lanes and open squares. Walk from the ornate Chichester Cross to cosy cafés and boutiques, pausing in the Cathedral Close to admire Chichester Cathedral and its elegant spire.

History runs deep here, from Roman Noviomagus to guilded medieval streets still traced by the Roman city walls. Browse the pedestrian centre or linger in gardens by the cathedral for a restful sense of southern English life.

Experience the spirit of Nashville on England’s south coast as you enjoy live country music every evening in Warner Lakeside’s cabaret lounge. Expect rich harmonies, the steel-guitar twang and space for line-dancing in a warm, club-style setting.

The programme spans classics and contemporary UK acts with professional sound and lighting. This entertainment is included throughout your stay, turning each night into an easygoing celebration of boots, ballads and two-step rhythms.
