Additional information

  • 3 Dinner (D)
  • 10 Breakfast (B)
  • Athens: You’ll find a standard seat reserved for you while you’re sailing between the mainland and islands. (Mhm, travelling just like the locals!)
  • Athens: Looking to disconnect from the world (and connect with your new travel pals)? Ferries are the place to be. The Wi-Fi and phone signal when sailing between islands (understandably) tends to be weak. That’s why we always recommend using an e-SIM or getting a local SIM so you can have continued connectivity. But there’s no need to worry if you don’t have one. All accommodations throughout the trip will have Wi-Fi available – so you can keep your Insta followers updated on all the fun!
  • Athens: Almost every time. Most of our accommodations tend to have pool facilities. But hey, you’ve got the sparkling Aegean waters of Greece by your side. So if you wanna take a swim, you’ve got the entire sea to explore.
  • Athens: Ferry departure & arrival timings tend to change for every trip. So if you’d like to know the exact time, you can contact our 24/7 customer service centre.
  • London: A modular trip means fellow travellers will join and leave at various locations. There’ll be some goodbyes, sure, but there’ll also be plenty of hellos with new like-minded travellers.
  • Mykonos: Paradise Beach in Mykonos is one of the most iconic beaches, not only in Greece, but in the world! And this resort is right on the beach. Think gorgeous sunset views and direct access to the beach.
  • Athens: All aboard! Time to sail from Athens to Mykonos, checking out that glittering sea view as we go. Includes reserved seating.
  • Mykonos: We’ll set sail from marvellous Mykonos to perfect Paros, with reserved seating included.

Contiki

Meet your Trip Manager and fellow travellers at a hosted gathering in Athens. Hear what to expect from the Greek island journey and get to know the group over an included welcome dinner.

The meal is a chance to share first impressions of the city and make connections with the people you’ll be travelling alongside. It gives the tour a sociable beginning before the island explorations begin.

Stroll through Mykonos’s winding streets, passing whitewashed buildings, blue accents and the island’s distinctive coastal windmills. The town’s narrow lanes offer a close-up look at the Cycladic architecture that has made Mykonos instantly recognisable.

The windmills recall an era when islanders harnessed the Aegean breeze to mill grain. Among the shops and cafés, look for the blue-glass evil-eye ornaments traditionally kept as charms against misfortune.

Explore Fira, Santorini’s clifftop capital, on an included day trip. Walk among whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches, with opportunities to photograph the town’s lanes and broad views across the Aegean.

Fira overlooks Santorini’s caldera, the vast basin left by an ancient volcanic eruption. Its buildings cluster along the rim above steep volcanic slopes, giving this island town a setting unlike the flatter landscapes elsewhere in the Cyclades.

Join a locally guided evening walk through Mykonos Town’s cobbled streets. Explore the maze of whitewashed lanes with someone who knows the island, seeing how its familiar Cycladic architecture takes on a different character under the evening lights.

The compact old town was built as a network of twisting passages, offering shelter from the wind. This optional experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Visit a family-run winery on Paros and explore a local village before spending time in the fishing village of Naoussa. The outing offers a look beyond the island’s beaches, from its rural traditions to the boats and waterfront lanes of a working harbour.

Wine production has deep roots in the Cyclades, where vines grow in a dry, sunlit climate. This optional excursion is at additional cost and bookable on tour; the itinerary does not specify whether a tasting is included.

Sail around Paros and its neighbouring islands on a full-day outing devoted to the Aegean coast. Spend time on the water, with opportunities to swim, sunbathe and take in the rocky shorelines and clear blue sea.

Seeing the Cyclades by boat reveals coves and coastal contours that are easy to miss from inland. The unhurried pace leaves room for both a dip and time on deck. This optional sailing experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Join a cruise off Santorini for a view of Fira from the water. From the boat, take in the town’s white buildings set high above the sea and the dramatic volcanic terrain beneath them.

Santorini’s caldera was formed by an ancient eruption, and its steep edges give the island a striking profile from offshore. The itinerary does not specify the cruise route or onboard activities. This optional experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Visit Oia, the village perched on Santorini’s northern caldera rim, and see its narrow lanes and whitewashed buildings. The excursion also includes a visit to one of the island’s black-sand beaches.

Oia’s elevated setting offers a different perspective on the volcanic landscape, while the dark beach sand is a visible reminder of Santorini’s geological history. The specific beach is not named in the itinerary. This optional outing is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Attend a Greek wedding experience during your time on Santorini. The event offers a sociable way to encounter a Greek celebration, with the itinerary hinting at the spirited plate-breaking for which such festivities are often known.

Wedding celebrations hold an important place in Greek family and community life. The itinerary does not specify the programme or whether this is a staged performance rather than an actual ceremony. This optional experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Explore the coast of Ios by speedboat on an optional safari. Feel the sea spray as you travel along the island’s rugged shoreline, taking in views of coves and clear Aegean water from a different vantage point.

Ios has a more rugged character than some of the Cyclades’ busier islands, making its coast well suited to exploration by boat. The itinerary does not specify stops or swimming opportunities on this outing. It is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Share a farewell dinner with the group in Athens. This hosted meal offers time to swap stories, compare favourite island moments and enjoy one more evening together in the Greek capital.

Unlike the included welcome dinner, this gathering is a choice for travellers who would like a shared close to the trip. The restaurant and menu are not specified in the itinerary. The dinner is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Visit the Acropolis, the ancient hilltop site overlooking Athens. Explore its surviving monuments and take in views across the modern city, with the Parthenon at the heart of this landmark of classical Greece.

Built chiefly in the fifth century BCE, the Acropolis reflects Athens’s artistic and political influence in antiquity. The itinerary offers this as an option but does not specify a guide or included admission. The visit is at additional cost and bookable on tour.
