Take an evening orientation drive past Barcelona’s iconic sights. Illuminated streets and landmark architecture offer an introduction to the Catalan capital before exploring it more closely.
Prado Museum Visit
Visit Madrid’s Prado Museum and spend time with one of Europe’s foremost collections of painting. Look for works by Diego Velázquez and other Spanish masters among art spanning the 12th to the early 20th centuries.
The museum’s galleries offer a close encounter with the people, beliefs and courtly life that shaped Spanish art. This included visit provides time to admire the collection rather than simply view the building from outside.
Toledo Walking Tour, Santo Tomé & Santa María la Blanca
Walk Toledo’s historic streets with a Local Specialist in the hilltop city known for its Christian, Jewish and Muslim heritage. Visit the Church of Santo Tomé to see El Greco’s celebrated painting The Burial of the Count of Orgaz.
Continue to Santa María la Blanca, a former synagogue whose arches reflect Toledo’s layered cultural past. Together, the visits bring the city’s religious history and artistic legacy into focus.

Step inside Seville Cathedral, the vast Gothic church at the heart of the Andalusian capital. See the tomb of Christopher Columbus and take in the scale of an interior built to reflect Seville’s wealth and importance.
The cathedral stands on the site of the city’s former great mosque, a history still evoked by the adjoining Giralda. Its architecture makes this visit a concentrated encounter with Seville’s changing eras.
Pastéis de Belém Tasting
Taste a Pastel de Belém in Lisbon’s Belém Quarter, sampling the crisp pastry and creamy custard that have made this local speciality sought after. The tasting comes from the patisserie that has guarded its recipe for almost 200 years.
Rooted in Belém’s baking tradition, the pastry offers a flavourful counterpoint to the quarter’s grand maritime monuments. It is a small but distinctive way to experience Lisbon’s everyday food culture.

Share a farewell dinner in Lisbon with your Travel Director and fellow travellers. Gather around the table to revisit favourite discoveries from Spain and Portugal and enjoy a final hosted evening together.
Conversation and a celebratory toast give the meal its purpose beyond ordinary dining. It is an opportunity to mark the close of the journey in the company of the people who shared it.
