Additional information

Explore Parc de la Chute-Montmorency to visit Montmorency Falls, a dramatic cascade tumbling 83 metres—higher than Niagara. Follow cliffside paths and vantage points, and—if you wish—cross the footbridge that spans the crest for up-close views of the torrent and misty gorge below.

Set at the mouth of the Montmorency River, the site blends raw nature with history, from early colonial estates to later industrial power. Seasonal colours—lush summer greens or autumn fire—frame the thundering sheet of water.

Taste rural Québec heritage as you enjoy a traditional sugar-shack lunch inside a rustic cabane à sucre. Watch artisans see maple sap boiled to syrup, learn how the maple season shapes local life, and sample regional dishes paired with maple treats—often including classic maple taffy on snow when conditions allow.

Folk sounds and welcoming hosts bring centuries-old customs to life. From hearty tourtière to pea soup and fresh crêpes, this convivial meal offers a warm window into Québecois flavour and folklore.

Discover Montréal’s contrasts on a panoramic exploration: the sleek downtown core, the historic lanes of Old Montréal, and the French-inflected quarters that define the city’s spirit. Pause at a Mount Royal lookout for a skyline sweep, and visit the 1976 Olympic site before you step inside Notre-Dame Basilica.

Built in grand Gothic Revival style, the basilica dazzles with deep-blue vaults, gilded detailing, and luminous stained glass that chronicles the city’s past. The tour threads together Montréal’s European roots and North American creativity.

Explore Canada’s capital as you discover Ottawa on foot. Admire the neo-Gothic silhouette of Parliament Hill, the graceful flight of locks on the Rideau Canal, and civic landmarks around Confederation Boulevard before drifting into the artisan stalls and eateries of the ByWard Market.

Stories of a lumber town turned capital—chosen by Queen Victoria in 1857—unfold among grand facades and waterside vistas. The canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, anchors a city that balances national pageantry with neighbourhood charm.

Glide between forested islets and granite shoals as you cruise the Thousand Islands—an archipelago of 1,800-plus islands scattered across the St. Lawrence River. Watch cottages cling to tiny outcrops while grand summer homes and landmarks—such as views of Boldt Castle—appear along “Millionaires’ Row.”

Your captain shares river lore, from Indigenous trade routes to Gilded Age retreats and modern seaway navigation. Clear channels, birdlife, and wave-smoothed rock reveal the meeting of the Canadian Shield and the great river’s flow.

Survey Canada’s largest city on a comprehensive orientation: the Financial District, Old and New City Halls, the St. Lawrence Market area, Chinatown, Queen’s Park and the University of Toronto, the Entertainment District, Fort York, and the waterfront. Conclude as you ascend the CN Tower for sweeping views over Lake Ontario.

From the LookOut Level, Toronto’s skyline—stadiums, harbours, and gridded streets—unfolds beneath you. Built in 1976, the tower remains a defining landmark and a prime perch for panoramic cityscapes.

Visit a local estate amid orchard-dotted countryside to sample regional wines from the Niagara Peninsula. Taste cool-climate varietals and the area’s hallmark icewine, learning how lake breezes and the Niagara Escarpment craft a distinctive terroir.

Guided by the winery team, compare aromas and textures while hearing how winter harvesting concentrates sweetness in the frozen grapes. This unhurried tasting highlights the craftsmanship behind one of Canada’s leading wine regions.

Don your poncho and board for a dramatic boat cruise to the base of the falls. As the catamaran noses toward the Horseshoe Falls, feel the thunder and spray build, the world narrowing to mist, roar, and the emerald curtain of water pouring over the brink.

This river-level perspective reveals the power that carved the Niagara Gorge, where the river funnels between ancient layers of dolostone and shale. Cameras ready—moments here are exhilarating and elemental.

Step inside the Niagara Parks Power Station to explore early-20th-century turbines, generators, and control rooms that once turned the river’s might into light. Learn how engineers harnessed the cataract before you descend around 180 feet through the tunnel to a river-level viewing platform.

Emerging near the base of the Horseshoe Falls, watch mist plume skyward and hear the low rumble echo through the gorge. Industrial heritage and natural spectacle combine for a rare perspective from below.

Lift off for a helicopter flight over Niagara Falls, tracing the river past the Whirlpool Rapids before circling both the American and Horseshoe Falls. From the air, the geometry of the gorge, the plume of spray, and the city’s skyline align in one sweeping tableau.

This experience is available at additional cost and is bookable on tour with your Tour Manager. Flight routes are weather-dependent, ensuring the best possible sweeping aerial views of this natural wonder.

Discover the only fortified city north of Mexico as you join a guided walking tour through Old Québec’s Upper and Lower Town. Wander cobbled lanes to Place Royale and Quartier Petit-Champlain, pause along Dufferin Terrace beneath the Château Frontenac, and trace the line of the historic ramparts with sweeping views of the St Lawrence River.

Hear tales of explorers and sieges in this UNESCO World Heritage treasure, where French and British eras meet in stone walls, slate roofs, and lively plazas. Your guide reveals local traditions, architecture, and the city’s enduring European flair.
