Settle in for a hosted Captain’s dinner featuring Dalmatian specialities—think grilled Adriatic fish, seasonal salads, local olive oil and regional wines. Share stories with shipmates as the wake shimmers under a starlit deck.

Your crew brings maritime tradition to the table, pairing simple island ingredients with warm hospitality. A relaxed celebration of life at sea, this experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Swim along the Makarska Riviera where pebble coves meet the dramatic Biokovo Mountains. Wade into turquoise shallows scented with pine while fishing skiffs bob along a sun-lit promenade.

This shoreline frames southern Dalmatia at its most cinematic—silver-green pines, glassy water and bright beach cafés humming with coastal life. It’s a scenic interlude that pairs sea-softened serenity with towering alpine vistas just inland.

Gather for a convivial farewell dinner in a stone-built konoba tucked inside Omiš Old Town. Taste Adriatic flavours—seafood risotto, grilled calamari, local wine—beneath lantern light and the cliffs where the Cetina River meets the sea.

Hosts share tales of Omiš’s pirate heritage as you toast new friends and browse dessert trays heavy with Dalmatian sweets. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Visit a family-owned winery in the fishing village of Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula, meeting the vintners and learning their craft. In a stone-walled cellar, sample regional wines made from sun-loving Plavac Mali, a robust local grape related to Zinfandel.

Hear how steep terraced vineyards, limestone soils and salty Adriatic breezes shape signature styles like nearby Dingac. Expect notes of dark cherry, Dalmatian herbs and warm coastal terroir poured with heartfelt island hospitality.

Drop anchor for swimming in crystal-clear Adriatic coves reached only by boat. Step from the stern ladder into calm, cobalt water as sunlit ripples dance across pale limestone below.

These refreshing breaks showcase Dalmatia’s geology and clarity—pebble shelves, sea-silk seagrass and sheltered bays protected from swell. It’s a pure, salt-tanged pause between ports that invites you to float, breathe, and pause for photos and reflection on a sea as clear as glass.

Join a local expert to uncover Dubrovnik’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, strolling the limestone Stradun between Baroque facades and shaded cloisters. See Onofrio’s Fountain, the Franciscan Monastery’s historic pharmacy, and the refined arcades of the Rector’s Palace, with vistas to the stone city walls.

Hear stories from the Republic of Ragusa—when diplomacy, sea trade and learned liberty defined the city. Pan across red roofs toward Fort Lovrijenac and the glittering Adriatic, where merchant convoys once sailed these same waters.

Glide past the palm-fringed trio of Kolocep, Lopud and Šipan on a serene run through the Elaphiti Islands archipelago. Watch cypress spires and citrus groves give way to quiet coves and translucent shallows brushed by gentle swells.

Your crew steers close to postcard headlands and sandy inlets perfect to pause for photos and reflection. This is classic Dalmatia at a slower heartbeat—azure horizons, white wakes, and the scent of pine drifting over the water.

Explore Hvar Town’s heart around St. Stephen’s Square, pausing by the elegant Hvar Arsenal and Venetian Loggia before ascending to the hilltop Fortica Španjola. From the ramparts, take in sweeping views over the jade-green Pakleni Islands scattered across the Adriatic.

Hear how Hvar prospered under the Venetians, when shipyards buzzed and salt caravans crossed the islands. The 16th-century fortress—reinforced with Spanish engineers—anchors the skyline, while marble lanes and lavender-scented shops capture the town’s timeless Mediterranean rhythm.

Contiki

Cruise the Dalmatian coast on a classic wooden vessel, stretching out on the sun-drenched deck as the crew charts a course between Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik. Watch emerald islets slide by and glide into stone harbours where bell towers rise above terracotta rooftops.

This relaxed style of travel blends transport with leisure, letting you photograph quiet coves and lighthouse-dotted headlands while you cruise the Adriatic. Expect easy sea days shaped by wind and weather, and the simple joy of island-hopping in crystalline waters.

Walk the checkerboard lanes of Korcula’s walled Old Town, designed in a fishbone pattern to funnel sea breezes through Gothic-Renaissance streets. Step beneath honey-coloured stone and carved coats of arms toward the landmark Cathedral of St. Mark.

Unpack the island’s Venetian heritage and the seafaring legends surrounding Marco Polo. Battlements, loggias and slender bell towers evoke a maritime republic where shipbuilding and spice trade once flourished along these polished Venetian stone lanes.

Rev across vineyard tracks and olive-lined lanes on an off-road buggy adventure through Korcula’s rustic interior. Climb to coastal viewpoints for big-sky panoramas over islets and the Pelješac Channel before descending through scented maquis scrub.

Guides lead the route with safety briefings and helmets provided. Expect dusty smiles, Mediterranean scenery and plenty of photo stops. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.
