  • Hvar: See the historical Hvar Spanish Fortress, Arsenal and St. Stephen’s Square. Don’t forget your camera.
  • Korcula: This 13th Century walled city is framed by terracotta-topped buildings, rugged mountain scenescapes and turquoise waters.

Guides weave stories of Ragusan sailors and coastal defenses as fortifications tower above your bow. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; suitable for beginners with basic instruction included.

Visit a family-owned winery near Trstenik to meet the winemakers, stroll among sun-warmed vines and step into cool, barrel-lined cellars. The atmosphere is intimate, personal and proudly local.

Sample regional wines—notably robust Plavac Mali—while learning how Dalmatian limestone, sea breezes and old bush vines shape character. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; quantities are modest and stories generous.

Gather for the Captain’s Dinner, a convivial evening on deck featuring seasonal Dalmatian dishes and toasts with local wine. Under soft Adriatic light, conversation drifts as plates of grilled fish, salads and pastries circulate.

It’s a chance to thank the crew and relive the week’s highlights in good company. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; seating is casual and the mood proudly nautical.

Mark the journey’s finale with a final group dinner in a stone-walled konoba beneath Omiš’s towering cliffs. Menus lean toward fresh Adriatic seafood, grilled specialities and local olive oil.

The town’s pirate heritage and canyon backdrop add atmosphere as you trade photos and farewells. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; a relaxed way to sign off beside the river and sea.

Join a guided walking tour of Dubrovnik’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, entering via Pile Gate and the Stradun, its marble boulevard polished by centuries. Landmarks reveal a storied republic: the graceful Rector’s Palace, the Franciscan Monastery’s historic pharmacy, baroque churches and lively squares.

Your guide traces the rise of Ragusa’s merchant fleet and the city’s meticulous restoration after the 1990s siege. Expect cinematic vantage points—battlements, bell towers and sea bastions—ideal for photos and context-rich storytelling.

Cruise the Adriatic along the Elaphite Islands—Kolocep, Lopud and Šipan—where palm- and cypress-fringed shores glide past white limestone cliffs and cobalt water. From the sun deck, fishing hamlets and tiny chapels appear and fade with each glittering channel.

Once a haven for Ragusan mariners, the archipelago now beckons with quiet passages and sunlit coves. Sea breezes, gull calls and the steady set of sails create a serene maritime rhythm between island horizons.

Drop anchor in secluded bays and swim straight from the boat into the Adriatic’s crystalline water. Stern ladders make it effortless to slip in for a cooling dip, float beside the hull and watch sunbeams ripple across pale seabeds.

Notes of pine and salt ride the breeze while cicadas hum ashore—an unrushed interlude between ports. Dry off on deck, pause for photos and reflection, and savour the simple pleasure of sea and sky.

Sail the Makarska Riviera beneath the dramatic Biokovo mountains, where sheer limestone drops to a fringe of pine promenades and pebble beaches. The shoreline presents a gallery of bell towers, fishing boats and emerald shallows.

Protected as a nature park, Biokovo’s ramparts bring alpine scale to the Mediterranean scene. As the boat glides toward Makarska, watch pebbles gleam through glass-clear water while seaside cafes stir to the clink of coffee cups.

Discover Hvar Town on a hosted orientation that crosses St. Stephen’s Square, passes the grand Arsenal, and ascends to the Hvar Spanish Fortress (Fortica) for sweeping island panoramas. Marble-bright lanes, Renaissance facades and bougainvillea-draped courtyards set an elegant Mediterranean scene.

Hear how Venetian rule left its mark, including the Arsenal’s 1612 theatre, among Europe’s oldest. From the battlements, admire terracotta roofs and views over the Pakleni Islands—a perfect moment to pause for photos and reflection.

Contiki

Explore Korcula’s walled Old Town on a guided orientation, following its clever fishbone street plan that channels sea breezes through marble alleys. Artisan workshops and cafes cluster by the rose-windowed facade of St. Mark’s Cathedral, where bells chime over the harbor.

Unpack centuries of maritime wealth and defense as you pass Venetian ramparts, towers and loggias. Stories of master shipwrights and enduring Marco Polo legends accompany photo stops across balcony-laced houses and glittering channel views.

Rev into Korcula’s hinterland on a guided buggy adventure, bouncing along coastal tracks and vineyards and olive groves to wide-open viewpoints. Expect dust, laughter and stop-start thrills as the Adriatic flashes between pines.

Guides share island lore while photo stops showcase Pelješac Channel views and terraced hillsides. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; safety briefings and helmets are provided before setting off.
