  • Split: Yes, mostly. If you’ve booked together with a partner or a friend on a twin-share trip, you’ll be roomed together. If travelling alone, you’ll stay in a twin-share room with other travellers of the same sex. Please be aware that there are different options and prices when booking the Croatia Island Sail trip, On Deck and Below Deck, and you can only be roomed together if you have paid for and selected the same option at time of booking. If you’re travelling with your friends and have made separate bookings, don’t forget to tell our 24/7 support team that you’re travelling together. The Trip Manager will always try their best to put you in the same room. But please note, this can’t always be guaranteed.
  • Split: Croatia’s peak season means we’ve got lots of boats sailing the same day. If you and your friends have made separate bookings – just give our 24/7 support team a shout to link your bookings and we’ll make sure to keep the crew together on the same boat. But please note, this can’t always be guaranteed.
  • Split: Standard boats will have sun-decks so you can soak up the sunlight. Premium boats (the Plus version of our trip has Premium boats) have larger sundecks with a mid-weekly linen service.
  • Split: Yep, all bedrooms on the boats have air conditioning. They’re small and fit perfectly into the cabins (and work great for a quick cool down).
  • Split: All rooms are fitted with an ensuite. The premium boats tend to have bigger bathrooms.
  • Split: If the weather gods are on our side (which they usually are), we should be docking back up in Split at 3PM.
  • Split: We’ll feed you while you sail around Croatia. So you can just focus on getting the perfect sunset selfie.
  • Hvar: See the historical Hvar Spanish Fortress, Arsenal and St. Stephen’s Square. Don’t forget your camera.
  • Korcula: This 13th Century walled city is framed by terracotta-topped buildings, rugged mountain scenescapes and turquoise waters.

Join an olive farm visit on the Makarska Riviera beneath the Biokovo Mountains. Walk the groves and sample regional oils—peppery, grassy, almond-noted—paired with bread, cheese and sea salt.

Learn cold-press methods, harvest rituals and how centuries-old trees thrive on stony soils. This is an optional, additional-cost experience bookable on tour.

Climb the steps to walk the city walls—a two-kilometre circuit with cinematic views over terracotta rooftops, Fort Lovrijenac and the round Minceta Tower.

Interpretive panels trace Ottoman sieges and post-earthquake rebuilding as you circle bastions and battlements. Entry is ticketed; this is an optional, additional-cost highlight easily booked on tour.

Celebrate with a convivial Captain’s Dinner on board, a multi-course showcase of fresh Adriatic seafood, local produce and Dalmatian desserts. Toast the crew and your shipmates on the starlit deck as the harbour settles into evening.

A relaxed dressy night with regional flavours and stories from the sea, this optional dinner is at additional cost and can be reserved with your team on tour.

Visit a family-owned winery in Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula to sample regional wines in a stone cellar scented with oak. Taste robust Plavac Mali reds shaped by steep coastal slopes and sun-soaked days.

Hear how wind, salt and stone influence each vintage while your host pours limited releases. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; purchases directly support small producers.

Paddle a sea kayak beneath the city walls, skimming past cliffs and hidden caves with Lokrum Island views on the horizon. Feel the gentle Adriatic swells as stone ramparts glow in late light.

A short safety briefing and all equipment are included; guides set an easy pace suitable for beginners. This optional adventure is at additional cost and can be arranged while in Dubrovnik.

Gather for a final night dinner in a traditional konoba in Omiš, tucking into Dalmatian dishes like grilled fish, octopus salad and local wines poured from carafes.

The town’s pirate heritage and the Cetina River mouth lend a dramatic backdrop to your farewell meal. This optional experience is at additional cost and can be arranged with your team on tour.

Drop anchor for glass-clear coves where limestone pebbles intensify the colour of the sea. Step from the swim platform for lazy laps, floating with views of pines, chapels and terraced vineyards on shore.

The boat’s easy rhythm turns each stop into a mini beach club, with towels, sunshine and time to unspool. Mask and snorkel reveal schools of damselfish over a bright, sandy seabed.

Dine al fresco on deck as the harbour lights flicker across the water and gulls settle on the masts. Share plates of Dalmatian flavors—olive oil, grilled fish, herbs and citrus—beneath the Adriatic sky.

The open-air setting sets an easy, celebratory tone for the voyage, pairing coastal ingredients with sea breezes and harbour views. Conversations flow as the boat rocks gently at anchor or alongside the quay.

Join a guided walk through Dubrovnik’s Old Town, entering by Pile Gate to stroll the polished limestone of Stradun. Trace civic and mercantile power at fountains, monasteries and palaces, including the refined Rector’s Palace.

Your guide unpacks Ragusa’s rise as a maritime republic, the 1667 earthquake rebuild and the defiant walls that protected it all. After orienting highlights, you can enjoy a free afternoon to keep exploring cafés, museums and side streets at your own pace.

Sail past the Elaphite Islands where palm and cypress-lined shores frame fishermen’s coves and stone chapels. Watch for sandy stretches on Lopud, cliffs on Kolocep and vineyards on Šipan as the water shifts to turquoise shallows near the bays.

These islands once supplied Dubrovnik’s fleets; terraces of citrus and olives still stripe the hills. The approach is slow and scenic, ideal to pause for photos and reflection as sails, sea and sky take on mellow Adriatic hues.

Explore Hvar’s historic core from the flagstones of St. Stephen’s Square to the arcades of the Hvar Arsenal. Thread cobbled lanes scented with lavender before ascending to the Fortica (Španjola) viewpoint for a classic panorama of the Pakleni Islands and the harbour below.

Hvar’s Venetian past lives in its limestone facades, the island’s theatre (1612) above the Arsenal, and the easy Adriatic cadence of café life. Camera-ready vistas reward the gentle climb and bring the town’s maritime story into focus.

Contiki

Join a coastal sail on the Adriatic aboard a premium, air-conditioned small ship, gliding between stone towns, pine-fringed bays and white-pebble beaches. Stretch out on the sun deck as the crew follows the channels of the central Dalmatian archipelago with island silhouettes rising from cobalt water.

Expect easy days at sea with swim stops from the stern ladder and unhurried arrivals into postcard harbours. The rhythm of sailing links each island with time to savour coastal life, sea breezes and sparkling horizons.

Wander the islet city of Korcula along medieval walls and lantern-lit alleys that spill toward the sea. Pause by St Mark’s Cathedral and spot Venetian lions carved into gates and towers. Notice the ingenious fishbone street plan, set to catch summer breezes and shield winter winds.

Cafés crown the ramparts with views to Pelješac and pine-brushed islets. Local lore links the town to Marco Polo, while stonemasons’ guilds and shipwright traditions still echo through its compact squares.
