Continue toward Old Town to admire the Astronomical Clock’s hourly display and spired skyline. This in-depth visit highlights Prague’s layered identities—sacred, civic and scholarly—etched into palaces, chapels and stone lanes above the Vltava.
Prague Jewish Quarter Walk & Old-New Synagogue
Trace centuries of heritage in Josefov as you stroll with a Local Specialist through the Jewish Quarter. Step inside the storied Old-New Synagogue, Europe’s oldest working Gothic synagogue, and reflect among tilted stones in the Old Jewish Cemetery.
Hear how merchants, scholars and rabbis shaped Prague’s culture, surviving periods of restriction and renewal. This thoughtful walk offers architectural detail and human stories that deepen your understanding of a community central to the city’s identity.
Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum Guided Visit
Visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum with a Memorial Guide Educator to learn about one of history’s darkest chapters. Walk respectfully past preserved barracks and guard towers, and along the barbed-wire perimeter that once confined prisoners.
Exhibitions and first-hand testimonies honor victims and survivors while confronting the mechanisms of persecution. This solemn encounter invites reflection, remembrance and a commitment to vigilance against hatred in all its forms.
Kraków Old Town Walk, Wawel Cathedral & St. Mary’s Basilica
Ascend Wawel Hill to visit Wawel Cathedral, burial place of Polish monarchs and a symbol of national identity. Continue through lanes shaped by guilds and scholars to Rynek Glówny, Europe’s largest medieval square, with the Sukiennice Cloth Hall at its heart.
Step into St. Mary’s Basilica to admire its carved wooden altarpiece and painted starry vault. Listen for the trumpeter’s hejnal from the tower, a living tradition that punctuates Kraków’s daily rhythm.
Orava Scenic Drive & Oravský Hrad Viewpoint
Journey through northern Slovakia’s valleys toward the foothills of the Low Tatras, pausing to admire cliff-top Oravský Hrad Castle. The fortress rises above the Orava River in tiers of stone and timber, a sentinel against medieval frontiers.
Rolling forests, village steeples and misty mountain passes unfold as you travel, with opportunities to pause for photos and reflection. This route blends folklore landscapes with one of Central Europe’s most photogenic castles.
Budapest City Tour: Heroes’ Square, Andrássy Avenue & Buda Old Town
See the capital’s dual personality on a guided exploration. In Pest, stand amid national statuary at Heroes’ Square and cruise down elegant Andrássy Avenue. Cross to Buda to wander cobbled lanes and lookouts crowning Castle Hill.
Savor sweeping Danube views from Fisherman’s Bastion and trace Magyar origins, Habsburg grandeur and 20th-century upheavals woven into streetscapes. Cafés, bathhouses and bridges frame a city that balances grandeur with everyday warmth.
Liszt Ferenc Academy Tour & Student Recital
Step inside Budapest’s temple of music as you tour the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, founded in 1875 by the virtuoso himself. Marvel at Art Nouveau interiors—mosaics, gilded motifs and acoustically tuned halls—crafted to celebrate performance.
Stay for an enchanting student recital showcasing the Academy’s next generation. Hearing rising talents where Bartók taught, in a house founded by Franz Liszt, connects you to Hungary’s living classical tradition.
Wieliczka Salt Mine: Subterranean Chambers & Carved Chapel
Descend by elevator to explore the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a 600-year-old labyrinth hewn from rock salt. Walk past glistening chambers and saline lakes to a vast underground cathedral carved entirely from salt, complete with chandeliers and reliefs.

Schönbrunn Palace Guided Tour
Discover imperial Vienna as you step inside Schonbrunn Palace with a Local Specialist. Wander gilt-framed staterooms and frescoed ceilings, pausing in the Hall of Mirrors where the young Mozart performed. Stroll the formal parterre gardens and take in baroque sightlines that extend toward the Gloriette.
Trace the legacy of the Habsburgs through the private apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth, noting personal touches that tempered court ritual. This UNESCO-listed residence reveals the tastes, power, and ceremonial life of Europe’s longest-reigning dynasty.
Vienna Ringstraße Panoramic Drive
Explore Vienna’s 19th-century showcase as you follow the grand Ringstraße boulevard, a ceremonial loop lined with palaces, museums and parks. Pass the Hofburg Imperial Residence, the Vienna State Opera House and the Austrian Parliament Building, each a statement in historicist architecture.
Glide by the domed Karlskirche and leafy city parks as your expert commentary links Habsburg power, civic pride and fin-de-siècle culture. This elegant overview orients you to neighborhoods, café traditions and concert halls that still define Vienna’s rhythm.
Viennese Waltz Workshop: Dancing Without Barriers
Learn the city’s signature step as you join a Viennese waltz workshop in a specially designed sensory studio. Instructors share tactile and auditory techniques that make movement accessible to all, introducing the lilting 3/4 rhythm made famous in Strauss’s salons.
