Travel along Vienna’s Ringstrasse for views of the Hofburg Imperial Residence, State Opera and Parliament Building, as well as Karlskirche. This sightseeing drive brings together some of the capital’s most recognisable architectural landmarks.

Laid out where the old city walls once stood, the grand boulevard became a showcase for Vienna’s 19th-century ambitions. Look for the contrasting styles of its monumental buildings, from imperial grandeur to civic confidence.

Explore Prague Castle’s courtyards with a Local Expert and visit St Vitus Cathedral on this included Insight Choice experience. Walk through the historic castle complex and see the Gothic cathedral that dominates its skyline.

For centuries, the castle has been a seat of Czech rulers and presidents. The cathedral’s soaring architecture reflects Prague’s royal and religious history. This is one of two included Prague activities; travellers choose it instead of the Jewish Quarter walk.

Walk Prague’s Jewish Quarter with a Local Expert to learn how its Jewish community shaped the city. Visit the Old-New Synagogue and Jewish cemetery while exploring the streets of Josefov.

These places preserve centuries of religious and community history within Prague’s historic centre. Your expert provides context for the quarter’s enduring cultural significance.
