See waterside warehouses and stately merchant mansions that still define the city’s Golden Age silhouette.
Hear stories of a maritime crossroads that nurtured Rembrandt and witnessed Anne Frank’s wartime diary. Views of the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) and lively quays offer a vivid portrait of Amsterdam’s past and present, best appreciated from the hush of the water.
Antwerp Guided City Tour – Grote Markt, Brabo Fountain & Cathedral Quarter
Join a guided city tour through Antwerp’s old town, where the Grote Markt dazzles with ornate guildhouses, the Renaissance Stadhuis and the Brabo Fountain. Wander the Cathedral Quarter to admire the Cathedral of Our Lady, home to masterpieces by Rubens.
Unpack the city’s 16th-century Golden Age, when Scheldt-borne trade fueled wealth, art and architecture, and later transformed Antwerp into a global diamond hub. Historic lanes, quiet courtyards and lively squares reveal the city’s enduring flair for craftsmanship and commerce.
Bruges Walking Tour – Markt, Belfry & Burg Squares
Walk Bruges’ cobbled lanes and canals on a guided walking tour that frames the Markt and its towering Belfry with 47-bell carillon, then continues to the Burg with its Gothic Stadhuis and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
Trace the prosperity that Hanseatic trade brought to this “Venice of the North.” Pass the Church of Our Lady, where Michelangelo’s Madonna and Child quietly anchors a luminous interior. Gabled facades and mirror-bright waterways set a timeless, contemplative mood.
Arnhem’s Airborne Museum & Commonwealth War Cemetery
Visit the Airborne Museum at Hartenstein, the former HQ of the British 1st Airborne Division, where immersive exhibits recount Operation Market Garden (1944). Maps, personal artefacts and multimedia bring the ferocious struggle for the Rhine crossings into sharp focus.
Continue to the Commonwealth War Cemetery at Oosterbeek to walk among meticulously kept rows of headstones. Names, ages and regimental badges invite quiet remembrance, encouraging you to pause for photos and reflection on courage, sacrifice and the costs of liberation.
