Visit Santa Monica on the Pacific coast, where the beachfront and pier offer a change of pace from Hollywood’s busy streets. The combination reveals two distinct sides of Southern California: screen glamour and laid-back seaside life.
Sedona Red Rocks & Oak Creek Canyon
Explore Sedona’s red-rock setting, where sandstone formations frame a town known for its galleries, craftspeople and New Age culture. The vivid landscape has long drawn artists inspired by the shifting light and colour of the desert.
Travel through Oak Creek Canyon in Coconino National Forest, taking in views of rust-coloured canyon walls and the greener creek corridor below. This scenic passage showcases the striking contrast between Arizona’s high desert and its shaded river valleys.
Grand Canyon National Park & Desert View
Explore Grand Canyon National Park and take in its layered cliffs and sweeping rim views. Your Travel Director explains how the Colorado River and millions of years of erosion shaped this UNESCO World Heritage Site; there is also time to discover viewpoints and walking areas at your own pace.
Stop at the Desert View Intertribal Cultural Heritage Site to learn about Indigenous peoples with enduring connections to the canyon. Their perspectives add human history to the vast geological landscape.
Historic Route 66: Seligman & Kingman
Travel a stretch of historic Route 66, stopping in the Arizona towns of Seligman and Kingman. Look for vintage motels, old petrol pumps and roadside signs that recall the heyday of cross-country motoring.
Established in 1926, the highway became a route west for migrants, holidaymakers and adventurers. These surviving outposts offer a tangible glimpse of the road culture that made Route 66 an enduring symbol of the American journey.
Yosemite National Park
Explore Yosemite National Park, with time to take in its valley scenery, trails and picnic areas at your own pace. Look towards the granite face of El Capitan and the distinctive profile of Half Dome, rising above forests and the valley floor.
Protected as a national park since 1890, Yosemite is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its granite cliffs, waterfalls and pine-scented landscapes have helped shape the American tradition of conserving wild places.
San Francisco Sightseeing Tour
Get to know the City by the Bay on a San Francisco sightseeing tour featuring Fisherman’s Wharf and the Palace of Fine Arts. See the green spaces of the Presidio and the Italian-influenced streets of North Beach as the city’s hills open up different views.
Along the way, discover how waterfront trade, immigrant communities and landmark architecture shaped San Francisco. The tour provides a broad introduction to its neighbourhoods, from the working-harbour atmosphere of the wharf to North Beach’s café culture.
Boudin Bakery Visit
Visit Boudin Bakery, a San Francisco institution associated with the city’s distinctive sourdough. Enjoy breakfast amid the aroma of freshly baked bread and discover the bakery’s long-running tradition of using its historic Mother Dough.
Boudin traces that starter to 1849, the year of California’s Gold Rush. The visit offers more than a morning meal: it connects a familiar local flavour with the waterfront city’s history of newcomers, commerce and food traditions.
Grand Canyon Helicopter Flight
See the Grand Canyon from above on an optional helicopter flight, gaining an aerial perspective on the vast chasm, branching side canyons and bands of exposed rock. The changing angle reveals the scale of a landscape that can be difficult to grasp from the rim alone.
Carved by the Colorado River over geological time, the canyon displays layers recording a long history of the Earth. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour.
Hoover Dam Excursion
Visit Hoover Dam near Las Vegas and look out over the Colorado River and Lake Mead. Standing high above the river, you can appreciate the scale of the concrete structure and the reservoir it holds back.
Completed in the 1930s during the Great Depression, the dam became a defining feat of American engineering and helped transform the Southwest through water storage and hydroelectric power. This excursion is at additional cost and bookable on tour.
Vegas! The Show
Experience Vegas! The Show, a stage production celebrating the music and spectacle associated with Las Vegas. Settle in for a performance built around the city’s show-business tradition, with a chance to hear familiar songs and enjoy a lively night out.
Las Vegas grew into an entertainment capital through its casino resorts and headline performers. The show offers a theatrical take on that heritage. Attendance is at additional cost and bookable on tour.
Chinatown Walking Tour & Chinese Feast
Walk through San Francisco’s Chinatown, exploring streets lined with markets, dim sum shops and traditional herb stores. A hosted walking tour offers a closer look at the neighbourhood before a family-style Chinese feast shared around the table.

Golden Gate Bridge Walk & Sausalito
