Additional information

  • 7 Breakfast (B)
  • Georgetown: Georgetown is home to some of the most striking temples and street art, specially created to make everyone super jelly of your insta feed.
  • Kuala Lumpur: See more of Kuala Lumpur with a visit to the world famous Batu Caves – gigantic limestones caves housing a Hindu temple. After dragging your eyes away from the 140-foot tall statue of Lord Murugan, the Hindu God, climb the 272 stairs to reach the main cave for some amazing views. Careful of any cheeky monkeys whilst you snap pics of the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
  • Bangkok: A modular trip means fellow travellers will join and leave at various locations. There’ll be some goodbyes, sure, but there’ll also be plenty of hellos with new like-minded travellers.

Visit the world-famous Batu Caves, a limestone sanctuary outside Kuala Lumpur. Climb 272 steps beside the 42.7-metre statue of Lord Murugan to reach the vast Temple Cave, where shafts of light reveal shrines and stalactites. Gaze toward the Kuala Lumpur skyline as macaques scamper by.

A focal point of Malaysia’s Hindu community and of Thaipusam, the caves sit within ancient karst hills. Dress modestly, pace the ascent, and keep snacks tucked away from cheeky monkeys.

Cruise the Andaman Sea at golden hour on a relaxed sunset dinner cruise. Recline on deck as island silhouettes glide by, swim in a salt-water jacuzzi net, and savor dinner while breezes carry the scent of the sea and limestone islets fade into dusk.

Langkawi’s 99-island archipelago is recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark for ancient rock and mangrove habitats. This optional experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour; weather may affect routing and availability.

Ride an ATV through Balik Pulau’s rural backroads, rumbling past emerald paddy fields and orchards, spice gardens and kampung homes, with coastal viewpoints opening toward Penang’s quieter western shores. Expect light splashes, earthy scents and generous photo stops.

This countryside enclave preserves Penang’s laid-back Malay heartland. A safety briefing, helmets and guide are provided. This optional adventure is at additional cost and bookable on tour.

Join a guided panoramic tour to frame Kuala Lumpur’s story from royal seat to modern metropolis. Take in Merdeka Square, the National Mosque, and the ornate Old Railway Station before angling for that perfect shot of the Petronas Twin Towers.

Hear how tin trading and British administration shaped the multicultural core, and browse crafts at Central Market or Little India. Optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour during your time in Kuala Lumpur.

Hop on a Vespa as a passenger and zip through neon-lit night markets. Sample street-food classics—smoky satay, fragrant nasi lemak, crispy apam balik—amid the buzz of Kuala Lumpur after dark and strings of lights.

Guides lead to favorite stalls—often in Kampung Baru or Taman Connaught—and share food stories between short cultural stops. Helmets provided. Optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour; weather and local events may affect routing.

Explore Ipoh Old Town on a leisurely heritage stop, weaving past colonial facades and aromatic kopitiams. Stroll Concubine Lane, find whimsical murals, and photograph the Moorish-style Ipoh Railway Station and the Birch Memorial Clock Tower against limestone silhouettes.

Shaped by a late-19th-century tin-mining boom, Ipoh’s compact grid shares tales of Hakka miners, British administrators and Hainanese coffee culture amid karst hills and the Kinta River.

Discover UNESCO World Heritage-listed George Town on Penang as you join a guided walking tour through its heritage quarter. Trace mural-lined Armenian Street, pause at incense-swirled clan temples, and step along the wooden boardwalks of the Clan Jetties. Spot Ernest Zacharevic’s playful “Children on a Bicycle” and pastel Straits shophouses.

Founded as a British port, the city blends Malay, Chinese, Indian and Peranakan influences. Stories of merchant guilds, five-foot ways and spice-laden kitchens reveal living heritage set amid a compact, creative streetscape.
