Additional information
Gili Trawangan Island Cycling Experience
Pedal the palm-fringed perimeter of a car-free island on two wheels, circling Gili Trawangan’s coastal path past coconut groves, low-tide reefs, and waterfront cafés. Gentle terrain and ocean breezes set an easy pace for photo stops and swims wherever the water looks most inviting.
Share the sandy lanes with bicycles and traditional cidomo horse carts, then pause toward evening as the sky warms to gold and crimson with sunset over Mount Agung on the horizon. Bike hire is included during your Gili T stay, giving you freedom to explore at any time.
Ubud Village Cooking Class in the Rice Fields
Cook Balinese recipes in a family-run kitchen set among Ubud’s rice fields, learning to pound aromatic bumbu Bali spice paste, fold banana-leaf parcels, and grill satay over coconut husk embers. Fresh herbs, lemongrass, and galangal set the island’s bright, citrusy flavor profile.
Hear how village traditions and the subak irrigation system shape daily life, then gather to taste what you’ve prepared—dishes like satay lilit, lawar, and sambal that balance heat, sweetness, and limey lift. This is an optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour.
Mount Batur Sunrise Hike
Hike by starlight to the 1,717 m summit of Mount Batur, arriving as the first light spills over Lake Batur and Bali’s highest peak, Mount Agung. Volcanic gravel underfoot and cool pre-dawn air set a steady rhythm toward the rim.
At the top, watch a sunrise over the caldera while steam vents whisper from the earth in this UNESCO Global Geopark. Local guides share stories of recent eruptions and village life on the fertile slopes below. This is an optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour.
Ayung River White-Water Rafting
Raft the rainforest-cloaked Ayung River through a corridor of overhanging jungle, birdsong, and sculpted canyon walls. Tackle fun, splashy class II–III rapids suitable for first-timers, with professional guides leading safe lines and pointing out hidden waterfalls.
Between riffles, drift past riverside carvings and quiet eddies where kingfishers perch. The combination of warm water, basalt cliffs, and quick-fire drops makes this Bali classic both scenic and spirited. This is an optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour.
Gili Islands Scuba Dive with PADI Guide
Dive the Gilis’ coral slopes with a PADI-certified guide, exploring sites known for turtles, schooling fusiliers, and the occasional reef shark. Clear, gentle conditions make an inviting arena to scuba dive, whether you’re refreshing skills or adding another logbook stamp.
Depending on conditions, locations may include sites like Shark Point, Turtle Heaven, or the Bounty Wreck, where soft corals sway and macro life hides in crevices. All equipment and briefings are provided. This is an optional experience at additional cost, bookable on tour.
Gili Islands Snorkelling Cruise & Beach Lunch
Cruise by outrigger boat into translucent seas to explore Gili Meno and Gili Air, drifting above coral gardens where parrotfish flash by and turtles often glide past. Mask up for easy, shallow-water snorkelling at calm sites known for vivid reef life and postcard-clear visibility.
Savour a relaxed beachside lunch with toes-in-the-sand views before more time to swim and unwind. Guides choose spots with favorable conditions, which can include the photogenic underwater ‘Nest’ sculptures off Gili Meno. Expect gentle swells, abundant fish, and serene island horizons throughout this salt-sprayed day.
