Explore Cologne’s Altstadt along the Rhine, where pastel townhouses edge cobbled lanes and traditional brewhouses hum with chatter. Pause by the UNESCO-listed Kolner Dom as twin spires command the skyline, and wander the river promenade for views toward the Hohenzollern Bridge and its arc of love-locks.

This is one of the two included regional excursions, offered subject to hotel location. Enjoy time to discover Roman foundations, tucked-away churches, and perhaps step inside the cathedral’s soaring nave at your own pace.

Discover Aachen’s compact historic core, anchored by Aachen Cathedral, the octagonal masterpiece where Charlemagne once worshipped. Navigate lanes leading to the Gothic Rathaus and the neoclassical Elisenbrunnen, where thermal waters whisper of a venerable spa heritage.

Typically featured as one of the two included regional excursions (subject to hotel location), this visit invites you to admire the cathedral’s glittering Palatine Chapel mosaics, trace imperial history at the market square, and linger in cafés around the fountains.

Walk into the theatrical sweep of Brussels’ Grand-Place, where gilded guildhalls and the lace-worked Town Hall frame one of Europe’s most photogenic squares. Browse the elegant Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, a 19th-century arcade of chocolatiers and boutiques set beneath glass-vaulted ceilings.

Offered on select departures as one of the two included regional excursions (subject to hotel location), this visit blends architectural drama with daily ritual—watch street performers, seek out Manneken Pis nearby, and follow the warm scent of waffles through side streets.

Enhance your evening and upgrade your seating to Category 4 for a more immersive view of the Vrijthof stage. These seats position you closer to the stage, sharpening sightlines to the orchestra and soloists while preserving the convivial square atmosphere.

Available at an additional £40, this upgrade is limited and bookable on tour, subject to availability. Enjoy enhanced sightlines and sound presence as orchestral crescendos sweep across the square.
