Board a coastal boat and ride a local ferry between pastel villages that cling to cliffs on the Amalfi Coast. Watch terraced lemon groves, domed churches, and wave-sculpted coves scroll by as sea spray and sun create a vivid, salt-kissed panorama.

From the open deck, gaze across the Bay of Naples toward the silhouette of Mount Vesuvius, a reminder of ancient forces that shaped this shoreline. Traveling as locals do reveals the coast’s maritime soul—efficient, beautiful, and irresistibly photogenic from the water.

Wander the flower-draped lanes of Positano, the coast’s “vertical town,” where steps tumble past ceramic studios and linen boutiques to the pebbles of Spiaggia Grande. Pause for gelato, frame the sea through bougainvillea, and capture cliffside homes painted in sun-warmed hues.

Step inside or admire the Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its gleaming majolica dome as fishing boats bob offshore. Artists, writers, and style-makers long found inspiration here; you’ll feel the same easy elegance in the sea air and slow, scenic rhythm.

Circle Capri by boat on an optional cruise, slipping beneath limestone cliffs and through the arch of the Faraglioni. Drop anchor in sheltered coves for refreshing swim stops where the water glows Mediterranean blue and the island rises dramatically overhead.

Weather and sea conditions permitting, boats may approach sea caves such as the Blue Grotto for a closer look. This experience is at additional cost and bookable on tour, offering a perspective of Capri shaped by wind, light, and clear, inviting seas.

Roll up your sleeves and join a hands-on pasta class with a local chef. Mix, knead, and shape fresh pasta—from silky tagliolini to rustic cavatelli—before finishing with classic sauces like pomodoro or carbonara, learning techniques you can recreate at home.
